Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain federated 3D BIM models, coordinate clash detection, and deliver BIM outputs across civil, structural, MEP and tunnel disciplines. You will manage federated models in Navisworks or equivalent, extract quantities, and uphold ISO 19650 standards.

Strong English skills are essential, with the ability to collaborate across ANZ teams. The role emphasizes quality assurance, digital engineering initiatives, and efficient use of a Common Data

Qualifications

• Three or more years of BIM modelling experience on infrastructure or building projects.
• Working competence in ISO 19650 information management principles.
• Demonstrated experience with federated models and clash detection workflows.
• Tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture or digital engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English; capacity to operate within ANZ business hours overlap.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain federated 3D BIM models in line with ISO 19650.
• Perform clash detection, coordinate clash resolution, and report findings to the discipline lead.
• Extract quantities and produce BIM-related deliverables.
• Assist with Digital Engineering and automation initiatives where feasible.
• Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure QA/QC of BIM data.
