Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development with Java and APIs.
• Strong experience delivering Java apps and RESTful services.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring projects, and security patterns.
• Hybrid work arrangement with 2 onsite days per week in Makati.
• Availability to start on 12 October 2026 and work through 30 June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production Java services with Spring Boot.
• Create secure, reliable RESTful APIs for mobile, web, and third-party use.
• Apply Spring patterns for modular design, DI, and configuration.
• Implement persistence with Spring Data JPA; optimize queries and transactions.
• Use Spring Security for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; scale services for volume.
• Leverage Redis caching to improve latency and throughput.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop unit and integration tests with JUnit and Spring testing tools.
