Job summary

IGO TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a senior Data Engineer to lead AWS-based data platform initiatives. You will design, implement, and optimize data architectures for scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

You will work with business partners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical strategies, building Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Analytics solutions with hands-on coding and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, solution design, and enterprise data architecture on AWS.
• Proven track record designing AWS data services and data patterns.
• Expertise in Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Master Data Management.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary teams aligning data strategies with business goals.
• Hands-on PySpark design, building, and optimizing batch/streaming pipelines on AWS.
• Proficiency with workflow orchestration for complex pipelines.
• Ability to optimize cloud costs in large-scale data environments.
• CI/CD-driven deployment and management of AWS data infra.
• Leadership in mentoring data engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and delivery of data solutions using AWS core services.
• Ensure AWS data systems meet performance, scale and security targets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop data management strategies: Data Lakehouse, Warehousing, MDM, analytics.
• Hands-on architecture, coding and deployment of critical data systems.
• Monitor system health and optimize platform performance.
