Job summary

HCL Technologies Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Avaloq developer to lead and support analysis, design, and workshops within the wealth banking domain.

You will collaborate with stream leads and BAs to ensure changes are properly scoped and implemented. The role requires 5–8 years of Avaloq development experience, strong communication skills, and hands-on involvement in unit testing, SIT, and UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technologies or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Avaloq development with wealth banking domain.
• Previous team lead roles in past projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Financial and Global Market Regulations.
• Experience with Avaloq Core Platform modules: IRT, CRT, Cost & Charges, Book Engine, Rule Engine, Finance.
• Familiarity with interfaces: CAPI, AMI; SWIFT and FIX messaging.
• Knowledge of front, middle, back office practices in wealth banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support analysis and design workshops to ensure complete requirements.
• Collaborate with Stream Leads and BAs to scope changes.
• Code and perform unit testing for assigned work packages.
• Report progress, risks and issues; escalate as needed.
• Support SMEs and act as technical contact in workshops with customers.
• Perform SIT and assist in UAT with defect fixes.
• Knowledge of Avaloq modules for core platform as specified.
