Job summary

PwC Philippines is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to coach and review junior staff, ensuring adherence to auditing and regulatory frameworks. The role includes back-office audit procedures and delivering timely, high-quality output to offshore teams while upholding PwC assurance standards.

Ideal candidates have audit experience in financial services, willingness for full-time Ortigas Center/ regional office work with 2x weekly RTO, and flexibility for mid or night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
• Preference given to PwC returning employees with at least 3 busy season experience.
• Experience in banking, insurance, financial services, and AWM industries.
• Willing to work full-time in Ortigas Center/ regional offices with RTO 2x a week / 8x a month.
• Willing to work mid shift or night shift as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Team player able to work under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications and data analytics tools.

• Fully seconded to Assurance Offshore Services as Senior Associate to perform Assurance work for assigned engagements, with flexibility to undertake Associate/Preparer responsibilities based on business demand.
• Deliver high-quality output aligned with PwC global assurance standards and engagement team's expectations
• Demonstrate knowledge on basic financial auditing procedures
• Keep up-to-date with technical accounting developments using the firm's knowledge and research tools
• Interact with virtual team members on a timely basis and create good working relationships

The role of an audit senior associate is to provide coaching and conduct detailed review on the work of the associate ensuring adherence to applicable auditing and regulatory frameworks.

This may also include performance of routine back-office audit procedures on key areas.
