Salary: ₱30,000–₱40,000/month, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capacity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

MB&A CPAs is looking for a Senior Audit and Assurance professional to perform and lead audit engagements, prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements, coordinate with clients, and provide guidance to junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and perform audit procedures for assigned engagements.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Identify audit risks, accounting issues, and areas requiring adjustment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
• Coordinate with clients and manage engagement timelines and deliverables.
• Review work and provide guidance to junior audit associates.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field with 2–4 years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting, with experience in audit working papers and financial statement preparation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and effectively with a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant audit/accounting software.
• CPA license is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in Cebu City.

THREE-MONTH REASSESSMENT & UAE OPPORTUNITY

After three (3) months, employees will undergo a performance and capability reassessment covering technical skills, work quality, independence, client communication, and overall capacity.

Qualified employees may be considered for UAE placement based on performance, demonstrated capability, availability of a suitable position, business requirements, and management approval. UAE placement is not automatic and will be subject to applicable employment, work permit, and visa requirements.
