Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of related experience, ideally with an Australian accounting practice.
• CPA or CA qualification, or nearing completion.
• Excellent technical skills in Australian tax and accounting compliance.
• Proficiency with cloud-based systems, specifically Xero and XeroTax.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a high level of personal maturity.
• Experience reviewing work of others for Senior level roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage exposure to a broad range of business services and tax issues within a growing team.
• Play an integral role in client deliverables through strong communication and ethics.
• Perform high-level technical work in Australian tax and accounting compliance.
• Review accounting and taxation work prepared by other team members (Senior level).
• Review email communications to Australian advisers for accuracy and clarity.
• Assist with cashflow planning, budgeting and analysis of management accounts.
• Apply strong time and project management to ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain involvement in technical development of self and wider team.
• Ensure adherence to firm systems and procedures for file management and security.

About you
