Job summary

Reyes Tacandong & Co. invites experienced IT Audit professionals to join our Digital Trust – IT Assurance & Consulting practice in Manila. You will lead ITGC, SOC 1/2 engagements, and drive technology risk assessments for diverse clients.

You will mentor Associates, coordinate with Managers and Partners, and shape recommendations that strengthen governance and compliance while ensuring timely audit delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, AIS, IT, CS or related field.
• At least 3 years of IT Audit/Technology Risk experience.
• Experience reviewing IT General Controls, Application Controls and IT Operations.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit and technology risk engagements (ITGC, SOC 1/2, internal IT audits).
• Plan, test controls, and oversee audit fieldwork from planning to completion.
• Primary client contact during audit execution and timely updates to Managers/Partners.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and provide governance recommendations.
• Coach Associates to build technical audit competencies.

Join our Digital Trust – IT Assurance & Consulting team and help organizations strengthen their IT control environment, manage technology risks, and build confidence in their digital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT Audit and Technology Risk engagements, including IT General Controls (ITGC), SOC 1, SOC 2, and Internal IT Audits.
• Facilitate walkthroughs, perform control testing, and oversee audit fieldwork from planning through completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during audit execution and provide timely updates to Managers and Partners.
• Identify control gaps, assess risks, and contribute to practical recommendations that enhance governance and compliance.
• Coach and support Associates in executing engagements and developing technical audit competencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk, IT Assurance, or related services.
• Experience in reviewing IT General Controls, Application Controls, IT Operations, System Implementations, and technology-related risks.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
