Job summary

A financial services company located in Makati seeks an experienced Accountant. The role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS). Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Philippine taxation and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage. Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or related course.
• At least 3 years of experience in Philippine taxation.
• Experience in a computerized accounting environment.
• Proficient in journal entries, balance sheets, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
• Maintain general ledger and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards.
• Prepare monthly closings, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with PAS and tax regulations.
• Assist in tax filings (VAT, Withholding, CIT) and external audits.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Maintain organized filing of accounting documents.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
