Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Application Developer with 8+ years of IT experience to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise applications. You will build scalable, secure, and high-performing business solutions that integrate with internal and external platforms.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, and DevOps in an Agile environment, contributing to code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years of hands-on enterprise app development.
• Experience designing, developing, configuring, and customizing enterprise applications.
• Experience in application integration using REST/SOAP/messaging or middleware.
• Strong understanding of security models, authentication and RBAC.
• Experience with relational databases and data integration techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain enterprise applications based on business requirements.
• Develop and enhance business functionality across customer lifecycle, workflow automation, and process management.
• Build reusable components, APIs, and integrations using platform development frameworks.
• Integrate applications with internal systems, cloud services, and external platforms via APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Support Agile delivery with sprint planning, stand-ups, and demos.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
• Ensure compliance with security, coding standards, and enterprise governance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Contribute to automation and platform optimization initiatives.
