Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking a procurement specialist to manage supplier relationships within a defined commodity and direct all schedules and purchase orders. You will ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets while coordinating with finance on payment status.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and any other related course
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ERP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Decision-making and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity.
• Directs and manages all schedules and purchase orders for the client account of the product family.
• Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards and at the right cost.
• Support on communicating with supplier on replenishment of QN related items and quantity.
• Creating and maintaining an inventory according to the need of MRP.
• Liaising with Finance team to determine payment status of their respective supplier/s.
