Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is hiring an AI Engineering Manager - IC to join the team and build production AI agents while enhancing platform capabilities. You will work hands-on across AI agent engineering, backend, and platform development through the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with customers, analysts, QA, and software engineers to translate requirements into reliable agent behavior and scalable features. This role is primarily IC with leadership elements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in Software Development, AI/related technical roles.
• Experience on AI-driven projects, preferably with AI agents or LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents handling multi-turn interactions.
• Develop agent solutions with instructions, context management, and tool execution.
• Integrate AI agents with APIs, enterprise data, and identity systems.
• Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and data integrations.
• Establish automated testing and contribute to CI/CD and production support.
