Job summary

Planate Management Group South East Asia Corp (PMG SEAC) seeks a senior Geodetic Engineer to oversee surveying and geodetic activities for aerodrome projects in the Philippines. The role ensures accuracy of horizontal and vertical control, topographic surveys, construction layout, and as-built surveys in accordance with approved plans and aviation standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Geodetic Engineer with a PRC license.
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience as a Geodetic Engineer.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in surveying and geodetic works for aerodrome, airport, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of geodetic surveying principles, GPS/GNSS technologies, construction surveying, and mapping systems.
• Proficient in the use of total stations, GNSS equipment, survey software, and CAD applications.
• Familiarity with applicable local and international surveying, mapping, and aviation standards.
• Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Experience in runway, taxiway, apron, terminal, and airside infrastructure development projects.
• Experience in aerial surveys, digital terrain modeling, GIS applications, and deformation monitoring.
• Training or certification in GIS, remote sensing, hydrographic surveying, or construction surveying.
• Experience working with airport authorities, government agencies, consultants, and international contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise surveying activities for aerodrome infrastructure, including control surveys and as-built surveys.
• Ensure surveying works comply with approved plans, specifications, and standards.
• Establish, verify, and maintain horizontal and vertical control points.
• Review survey data, calculations, maps, and drawings for accuracy.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve survey-related issues.
• Prepare and review survey reports, as-built plans, and technical documentation.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
