Manulife Financial is seeking an Actuarial Senior Analyst/Actuarial Assistant Manager to join the Actuarial Function. The role bridges junior staff and management, driving data analysis, risk assessment and financial planning for the company.

Responsibilities include pricing, portfolio and asset modeling, and valuation activities, with a focus on precise projections and effective risk management. A design toward SOA/ASP progress is noted with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field is required.
• Progress toward actuarial designation (SOA/ASP) is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis, modeling or valuation in insurance/financial services is expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with actuaries to support data analysis, risk assessment, and business planning.
• Assist in managing the actuarial team to support pricing, portfolio and asset modeling.
• Contribute to financial projections and pricing strategies across functions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and technology developments.
• Communicate results and recommendations to various levels of the organization.
