Job summary

You will record and consolidate transactions, maintain ledgers, manage payroll, support audits, and ensure tax compliance while safeguarding confidential information and training junior staff.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions.
• Maintains the General Ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents.
• Assists in the preparation and filing of Tax Returns
• Manages the Payroll Process.
• Completes external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Trains and manages accounting personnel.
• Perform other related duties and projects as delegated by Management
