Job Description:
We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant for our client within their Client Advisory Services (CAS) department. This department is tasked with ensuring client deliverables are completed timely and meet the company’s quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with the team to ensure timely delivery of collective output to clients. The responsibilities include reviewing Financial Statements, preparing complex financials, planning team tasks, conducting reviews, implementing best practices, onboarding clients, and more.
Reconcile major balance sheet accounts, including preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with work scope, and prepare financial statements for client delivery.
Implement and manage Sage Intacct, QBO, Bill.com and other of the client’s standard tech stack for onboarding clients includes the creation of account, working on the standard configurations.
Establishing the Integrations between the accounting applications (Quick Books, Sage Intacct, Xero), AP applications (Bill.com), and other Expense management applications (Expensify, Nexonia).
Maintenance of integrations, configurations, and troubleshoot sync errors.
Working knowledge in QuickBooks desktop is a plus.
Conduct historical data migration including creation of masters (Customers, Vendors, COA, other dimensions), preparation of the Trial Balance import files, transactions import files, related validations after import.
Manage open accounts payable/receivable and checking accounts with precision.
Develop and maintain insightful dashboards, providing key metrics at a glance in various applications.
Handle Console Management, including the creation of users and maintenance of system security.
Handle payroll integrations with various platforms not limited to applications such as ADP, Gusto, Paychex, Paylocity, Square, and Trient.
Training of the applications to the new Joiners.
Creation and Updating the Process Documentations.
To support the Mfg. Retail Distribution.
Work on the assigned client or organizational audit/accounting work to produce the expected result in timely manner.
Have regular interactions with the clients, seniors, and other office counter parts to collaborate on multiple tasks.
Communicate work plan status and issues for both client and Senior Specialists.
Coach and guide the team members on the new release notes, new features of various applications.
Meet the communication and documentation standards to produce the expected and related work.
Participate in improving the processes, practices, tools & systems.
Collaborate with other team members to assist them with the deliverables or dependencies.
Should have a sound knowledge of software tools and systems
Active communicator and a great team player

Openness to travel - Occasional overnight travel may be required, and overseas travel will likely be required for approximately one week each year
Advanced skills in Excel formulas including Array Functions.
Basic knowledge of Power BI and other Microsoft tools like Power Automate, MS Forms, Visio.
B. Com / MCom / MBA
Proven experience with Wipfli’s standard applications, including QBO, Bill.com, and Intacct.
Strong knowledge of Excel for managing historical data migrations.
Solid understanding of financials and reporting requirements along with accounting and analytical skills.
Robust accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills.
