Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems Philippines (AMPI) is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and optimize our manufacturing facility, ensuring reliability of electrical, mechanical, and utility systems. You will drive energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability while mentoring junior technicians in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Strong preference for semiconductor/cleanroom experience; requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Technology and 2–5 years of hands-on work; familiarity with JIRA and

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience as a facilities technician.
• Strong background in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with standard computer operations and JIRA logs/work orders.
• Collaborative in coordinating across departments and guiding safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and inspections on plant facilities equipment to maximize uptime.
• Monitor resources (power, water, compressed air) and identify cost-saving improvements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize disruption.
• Track equipment health and detect abnormalities using manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate layouts for new equipment installations or relocations and manage spare parts.
• Lead audits and mentor junior technicians and interns.
