Selling Supervisor
Job Summary
The Selling Supervisor is responsible for driving category sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, excellent customer service, and efficient store operations. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, inventory accuracy, proper execution of promotions, and the overall performance of sales support staff and merchandisers within the assigned category.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily selling operations to achieve category sales and profitability targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Manage category performance, including product availability, display execution, and merchandise presentation.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards within the assigned area.
- Monitor and minimize losses by effectively managing bad orders and product quality concerns.
- Execute promotional activities accurately and on time to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular monitoring, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate sales support staff and merchandisers to achieve operational excellence.
- Prepare and submit relevant sales and operational reports as required.
- Support overall store operations and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service Management, or any related field.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in retail, supermarket, food service, or store operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising is an advantage.
- Results-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work on-site and flexible with store operational requirements.
