A community organization is looking for a Security Guard to monitor premises and ensure safety. The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma, a valid Guard Card, and some experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include patrolling areas, monitoring entrances, and maintaining order. This job requires strong communication skills and computer proficiency. The position may involve evening and weekend shifts.

POSITION SUMMARY: Guards, patrols, or monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office, e-mail and internet preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: Guard Card issued by State of California and Valid Driver’s License. Proof of Insurance and Driving record Acceptable by Goodwill’s Insurance Company.
Schedule: 5 days per week, which may include weekends and evenings.
Amount of Travel Required: 50% to 75%
