Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Security Infrastructure team in the Philippines. You will manage FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR, while optimizing endpoint protections with FortiEDR, SentinelOne, and Defender for Endpoint.

You’ll implement automated security use cases and reports for clients. You will craft and maintain security runbooks, dashboards, and reliable automation for security metrics, ensuring robust API security and data protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and managing security engineering systems.
• Hands-on with FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR.
• Strong SIEM management and endpoint protection experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage FortiSIEM, Elastic SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR to optimize security ops.
• Oversee EDR solutions (FortiEDR, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint) to mitigate threats.
• Design automated security use cases and playbooks for incident response.
• Oversee API security measures and secure data transmission.
• Collaborate with clients to develop automated security reports and dashboards.
• Create runbooks and documentation for security processes and tooling.
• Stay updated on current threats and defense techniques.
