Job summary

System Soft Technologies is seeking a Security Engineer to support enterprise and product environments with a hands-on focus on security operations, patching, endpoint security, and infrastructure hardening.

You will work closely with security leadership to deploy controls, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure systems align with ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, PCI DSS, and SOX, while strengthening the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hands-on engineering role (Systems, Infrastructure, or Security Engineering).
• Strong experience with patching, system maintenance, or vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with endpoint or infrastructure tools (agent deployments, monitoring tools, EDR, etc.).
• Basic understanding of security principles (hardening, least privilege, patching).
• Interest in growing into a security-focused role.
• Experience with servers, networks, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to identify issues and execute fixes, not just escalation.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

This role will be critical in strengthening the organization's security posture by deploying tools, remediating vulnerabilities, and ensuring systems align with frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, PCI DSS, and SOX. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong infrastructure or systems experience who is interested in building deeper expertise in security.
