Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• One or more recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC).
• Experience in Information/Security, Network Security, IT Risk Management in banking or regulated environments.
• Proven design/engineering experience with security frameworks and services for mid-large orgs.
• Strong cloud security knowledge across IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and standards (ISO, NIST, PCI DSS, DPA, BSP).

• Develop and maintain security blueprints, standards, and frameworks for networks, apps, and enterprise systems.

What the role will entail

Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's security architecture in partnership with the Head of Security Architecture and Engineering.

Develop and maintain security blueprints, standards, and frameworks for networks, applications, and enterprise systems.

Provide technical expertise in security architecture and engineering, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and evolving threat landscapes.

Design, review, and enhance security controls, recommending and implementing improvements to strengthen organizational security.

Integrate security controls into infrastructure, cloud environments, and application development processes, including the establishment of secure coding standards.

Implement and maintain risk management frameworks to support security architecture decisions and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and communicate security strategies effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
• Holds at least one recognized professional cybersecurity certification, such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, or a similar credential.
• Proven experience in Information Security, Network Security, IT Security, Cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, or related roles within the banking industry or a comparable highly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, engineering, and implementing security frameworks, solutions, and services for medium to large‑scale organizations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, with a solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, including ISO, NIST, SANS, COBIT, PCI DSS, Data Privacy Act (DPA), and BSP regulations.
