Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our IT Center of Excellence. You will serve as a primary escalation point for high-severity security incidents, lead containment and investigations, and help strengthen our security posture for a major telecom client.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in threat detection, SIEM optimization, vulnerability management, and incident response leadership, with at least 1 year in User Access

Qualifications

• Proven track record in threat detection, SIEM optimization, vulnerability management and incident response leadership.
• At least 1 year of experience in User Access Management (UAM).
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to mentor team members and present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shifting environment and adapt to a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for high-severity or complex security incidents. Lead containment, investigation, and eradication of threats.
• Continuously review alert queues, optimize SIEM rules, and partner with detection engineering teams to minimize false positives.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, evaluate security posture, and prioritize vulnerability remediation.
• Coach and mentor junior security analysts in investigation methodologies, forensic analysis, and runbook execution.
• Ensure security controls align with industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and assist in drafting security policies.
• Translate complex technical findings and threat trends into actionable business intelligence for executive leadership.

About the role
