Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a Secondary Mainstream Alternative Provision Teaching Assistant in Boston to support pupils in an on-site alternative provision setting and work with a dedicated team to deliver curriculum and behavioural support.

Starting ASAP, with a view to permanent employment, the role offers a competitive daily rate, weekly PAYE, and funded qualifications including Level 2 SEND, Level 3 Teaching and Learning, Level 4 HLTA, and Level 5 TEFL, plus career progression

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in mainstream or SEN settings.
• Experience working with challenging behaviour.
• Current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
• Be able to commute to Boston.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils under the direction of the teaching staff in a mainstream and SEN setting.
• Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Support the delivery of learning activities and inclusion within the classroom.
