Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to work within the Work and Rewards Advisory Technology and/or Data Technology teams. You will design, build, and maintain automated tests and test harnesses in C#/.Net for our application portfolio, joining a global Agile team delivering technology products to clients.

You will create high quality acceptance tests, ensure daily automated test execution, and help automate appropriate tests to achieve rapid delivery at sprint

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant tech experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of agile software development practices.
• Experience with API-based automated test development.
• Experience with UI automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• SQL skills for tuning and data testing.
• Ability to convert manual tests into automated tests.
• Proficiency in C# or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality acceptance tests from criteria and standards.
• Maintain daily automated test execution with sufficient coverage.
• Identify tests to automate with the scrum team.
• Follow best practices in test code maintainability and modularity.
• Improve quality during all stages of software development, shift-left mindset.
• Share knowledge through sessions and learning events.
