Job summary

A tech company is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and build scalable, cloud-native data solutions using Python and AWS. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of data engineering experience and a strong proficiency in Python and SQL. This role involves collaborating with a multicultural team and a US-based client, requiring excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience (integration, transformation, processing).
• Strong in Python, especially for APIs and data libraries.
• Proficient in SQL and big data formats (Apache Parquet, ORC).
• Solid data modeling: Relational & NoSQL (bonus: dimensional).
• Hands-on with AWS services: Glue, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3.
• Knowledge of IaC: CloudFormation or CDK.
• Experience orchestrating pipelines (Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions).
