Job summary

ZS Associates is seeking an Associate Consultant in its Scaled AI practice to collaborate with client teams and design scalable data solutions. You will work with data scientists to build ML models, pipelines, and platforms, contributing across the full lifecycle from data gathering to deployment.

The role demands 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong English fluency, and a CS foundation. Expect hybrid work, travel opportunities, and cross-functional collaboration in a global context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in tech/consulting
• CS foundation required
• Experience with distributed computing (Spark preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to learn new tech quickly and hands-on
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Scala and data structures
• Experience building data pipelines, orchestration, ingestion patterns
• Experience on distributed computing and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Good understanding of RDBMS and ETL is a plus
• Fluent in English; client-first mentality; strong work ethic; collaboration

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to gather requirements and analyze technical needs
• Design and implement features leveraging the stack in use
• Work with architects to validate design and approach
• Write production-ready, well-tested code with edge-case handling
• Adhere to architectural guidelines and code reviews for quality
• Develop unit and integration tests for robust delivery
• Utilize bug tracking, version control, and reviews to organize work
• Participate in scrum and agile ceremonies; communicate progress and blockers
• Research and evaluate new technologies; build prototypes and PoCs
