Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger Developer/Consultant to design, configure, develop, and maintain SAP FI GL solutions. You will collaborate with Finance and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP capabilities and ensure accurate financial processing and reporting.

The role focuses on Universal Journal (ACDOCA), chart of accounts, ledgers, postings, and period-end closing, with hands-on S/4HANA configuration and ABAP

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI-GL.
• Understanding of Financial Accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with S/4HANA configuration and customization.
• Experience with Universal Journal (ACDOCA).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA FI GL solutions.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger Developer/Consultant to support the design, configuration, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, with a strong focus on FI General Ledger (GL). The role will work closely with Finance, IT, functional, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions and ensure accurate financial processing, reporting, and integration. Key S/4HANA GL areas include the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), ledgers, chart of accounts, postings, reconciliation, and period-end closing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and accounting stakeholders.
• Configure and maintain General Ledger, ledgers, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, document types, and account determination.
• Support Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA financial data structures.
• Develop and maintain functional/technical solutions, enhancements, interfaces, and reports related to SAP FI GL.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of SAP FI GL issues.
• Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and integration activities.
• Work with technical teams on integration between SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical developers when custom development is required.

About you

• 4+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI General Ledger experience
• Strong expertise in SAP FI-GL
• Strong understanding of Financial Accounting principles and processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA configuration and customization

• Experience with Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Fiscal Year/Posting Periods, Document Types, and Account Determination

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
