Thakral One is seeking an SAP S/4HANA MRP Techno-Functional Consultant in the Philippines. The role focuses on evaluating SAP MRP configurations and translating process recommendations into S/4HANA settings to improve materials planning, procurement, stock transfer, and reporting.

The candidate will design operating models, optimize tools, and enable reports while collaborating with business and consulting teams to align people, processes, and technology.

Qualifications

• Experience as an SAP MRP/Functional or SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant.
• ECC background acceptable with strong MRP knowledge.
• Experience in MRP, materials planning, procurement, inventory or supply chain planning implementations or optimization.

SAP S/4 HANA MRP Techno-Functional Consultant

As an SAP S/4HANA MRP Techno-Functional Consultant, you will evaluate current SAP MRP configurations and translate process recommendations into S/4HANA settings that support better materials planning, procurement, stock transfer, and reporting.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Phase 1: Gap Analysis & Operating Model Design (Process & Tools)

• Evaluate whether current SAP configurations support the required future-state materials planning processes.
• Map process recommendations into standard SAP S/4HANA features, with minimal customisation where possible.
• Validate master data requirements and support alignment of planning parameters for chemicals, network materials, spare materials, and project requirements.
• Assess how stock transfer processes can be designed and supported through SAP, including STOs for balancing inventory between treatment plants and warehouses.
• Support the integration of ASN data into planning and procurement interactions where required.

Phase 2: Optimization & Enablement (Tools & Implementation)

• Configure and support core MRP parameters such as ROP/ROQ, Min-Max, STO frameworks, and planning time fences.
• Support implementation through a controlled pilot before full rollout.
• Translate supply chain and operating model recommendations into workable S/4HANA settings.
• Support advanced data modelling requirements related to purchasing strategies, inventory optimisation, and cash flow optimisation.
• Enable customisable reports for decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Work with business and consulting teams to ensure SAP configuration supports the intended people, process, and tool alignment.

Experience

• You have experience as an SAP MRP Functional Consultant, SAP MM/PP Functional Consultant, or SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant.
• ECC background is acceptable if you have strong SAP MRP process knowledge.
• You have supported MRP, materials planning, procurement, inventory, or supply chain planning implementations or optimisation work.

Technical Expertise

• You have working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MRP and related planning processes.
• You understand SAP MRP business process master lists, planning parameters, stock transfer processes, master data, and procurement interaction flows.
• You have exposure to SAP MM/PP, materials segmentation, ASN data, STOs, ROP/ROQ, Min-Max, and planning time fences.
• You can evaluate existing system configurations and translate process requirements into SAP settings.

Ways of Working

• You are precise, analytical, and careful in assessing configuration and process fit.
• You can work closely with business consultants to convert operating model recommendations into system-enabled solutions.
• You communicate technical findings clearly to both SAP and non-SAP stakeholders.
