Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an SAP PM/MM Consultant (Functional) to design, configure, and support end-to-end plant maintenance and materials management in SAP within ITIL-managed services. You will translate requirements into fit-to-standard solutions, lead testing, and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams to improve system reliability.

The role partners with Maintenance, Operations and Procurement stakeholders to optimize work orders, procurement, inventory movements and FI/CO

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting SAP PM and SAP MM on SAP ECC.
• Strong PM knowledge including equipment, functional locations, BOMs, maintenance plans and scheduling.
• Strong MM knowledge including procurement cycle, inventory movements, and material master fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting and support for SAP PM/MM across incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.
• Configure and maintain SAP PM functions (equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, notifications, work orders, confirmations, settlement).
• Configure and support SAP MM functions (material master, purchasing, PR/PO, goods receipt, invoice verification).
• Enable end-to-end maintenance execution with materials/services: planning, reservation, procurement, issue/return, and cost capture to orders/WBS/cost centres.
• Support plant maintenance and stores integration (catalogues, spare parts strategy, re-ordering, valuation).
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and coordinate with ABAP/tech teams.
• Execute and support testing (unit/SIT/UAT), defect triage, cutover prep, release deployment; develop test scripts.
• Provide production support including root cause analysis, data correction guidance, and user assistance; coordinate with Basis/security.
• Maintain functional documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to users and support teams.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities (mobility/Fiori adoption, automation) and contribute to release planning.
