Job summary

Tasg Work is seeking a skilled SAP FICO accountant in the Philippines to provide daily and ad hoc support for local business questions and process improvements. The role includes aiding SAP S/4HANA rollout readiness, localization testing, and knowledge transfer to CKUs and plant teams.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Accountancy, CPA preferred, and at least 5 years of related experience with SAP GL and other modules, plus strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years work related experience.
• SAP expert in General ledger (FICO); knowledgeable in other SAP accounting modules (AR, AP, MM).
• Complex accounting resolution skills.
• Knowledgeable in Segregation of Duties.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Excel, Work, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily and ad-hoc support to local business questions and process improvements in the own department.
• Support approved business integration rollout projects.
• Assist in localization and validation testing for SAP upgrades, and ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Drive efficiency through local quick-wins and simple process improvements.
• Liaise with CKUs to translate business needs into IT change requests.
• Contribute as a trainer and knowledge carrier for SAP processes in plants or regions.
• Help maintain SAP knowledge and close gaps in the current system.
• Build up knowledge and prepare plants for the future SAP system.
• Create and maintain local SAP documentation to optimize training and knowledge sharing.
• Share best practices and tips for SAP across plants.
