Job summary

SM Investments is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant / Project Lead to design, enhance, and deliver enterprise-wide SAP solutions across Finance and Controlling.

You will lead workshops, document blueprints, configure FICO, drive SIT/UAT, data migration, and project deployments, while partnering with business units to ensure value realization across SAP modules such as MM, SD, and RE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO).
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Analysis & Design.
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations with multiple sub-modules (MM, SD, RE).

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with key business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Analyze requirements and propose standard or custom SAP FICO solutions.
• Prepare business blueprints and ensure alignment with process owners.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements.
• Configure SAP FICO based on requirements and support SIT/UAT.
• Lead data conversion and migration activities with business partners.
• Create and execute project timelines, cutover plans, and deployment strategies.
• Provide user enablement and be the SAP FICO point-of-contact.

About the Role

As an SAP FICO Consultant / Project Lead, you will take on a key role in designing, enhancing, and delivering enterprise-wide systems and solutions. You will participate in a full range of functional, technical, and project management activities, applying independent judgment to initiatives that significantly impact business operations and strategic programs. This role provides exposure to multi-industry business groups, cross-functional collaboration, and high-value digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

Business Engagement & Solution Design

• Lead workshops and discussions with key business stakeholders.
• Analyze requirements and propose standard or custom SAP solutions aligned with best practices.
• Prepare business blueprint documents and ensure full alignment with process owners.
• Develop functional specifications for custom objects and enhancements.

System Configuration & Testing

• Perform SAP FICO configuration based on functional requirements.
• Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure solution readiness.
• Guide and support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Implementation & Deployment

• Lead data conversion and migration activities together with business counterparts.
• Create and execute project timelines, cutover plans, and implementation strategies.
• Manage assigned SAP projects and ensure deliverables are met according to plan.

User Enablement & Support

• Conduct training sessions for key business users and super users.
• Serve as the primary SAP FICO point-of-contact for designated business units.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and recommend innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Completion of business management or project management courses is an advantage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO).
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Analysis & Design.
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations with at least three sub-modules (MM, SD, RE, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in real estate, hotels, logistics, or holding company environments.
• Proven leadership in at least one successful SAP project.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
