Job summary

Cognizant in Rockwell Center, Makati City, seeks a mid-to-senior SAP FICO Functional specialist for a hybrid role (2–3 days on site). Ideal: 8–10 years SAP FICO and 1–2 S/4HANA implementations.

You will lead R2R processes, FI integration with MM/SD, and PH BIR CAS/EWT compliance, working with business, tax teams and external consultants. Start ASAP; 6–12 month contract.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP FICO experience.
• At least 1–2 S/4HANA implementation/rollout projects.
• Strong knowledge of R2R processes and FI integration (MM/SD).
• Exposure to Philippines BIR compliance (CAS, EWT) preferred.
• Experience in BIR CAS demonstration and approval process is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support R2R processes including GL, AP, AR, asset accounting.
• Configure and manage Withholding Tax (EWT) with ATC codes and tax reporting.
• Ensure compliance with BIR CAS accreditation requirements and document sequencing.
• Handle integration with MM-FI and SD-FI (Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash).
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Collaborate with business, tax teams, and external consultants for compliance readiness.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support R2R processes:

• General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting

• Period-end closing and financial reporting

Configure and manage:

• Withholding Tax (EWT) with ATC codes

• Tax and statutory reporting aligned to Philippines regulations

Ensure compliance with:

• BIR CAS (Computerized Accounting System) accreditation requirements

• Document sequencing and statutory reporting formats

Handle integration with MM & SD:

• Procure-to-Pay (MM-FI) and Order-to-Cash (SD-FI) flows

Support:

• SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and cutover activities

Collaborate with:

• Business, tax teams, and external consultants for compliance readiness
