About the role

The SAP FI Accounts Receivable (AR) Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP FI Accounts Receivable solutions within an enterprise SAP environment. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to analyze financial requirements, implement scalable SAP solutions, and ensure seamless integration across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and other related financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP FI Accounts Receivable (AR) solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI functional solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP FI AR processes based on organizational requirements.
• Support end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes, including system integration and financial transactions.
• Ensure seamless integration between FI Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
• Collaborate with Finance, business stakeholders, technical teams, and other functional teams to deliver SAP solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Provide solutions to complex functional and technical issues related to SAP FI AR.
• Contribute to key technical and functional decisions across multiple teams.
• Monitor project progress and identify opportunities to improve solution quality, performance, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience SAP CO Product Cost Controlling
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP FI Accounts Receivable processes and functionality.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and SAP ERP integration.
• Hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and customization.
• Experience with system integration across FI Accounts Receivable, FI Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
• Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Experience in testing, issue resolution, and business/user support.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and provide functional expertise and guidance.

Good to Have

• Experience in SAP FI Accounts Payable (AP).
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI General Ledger (GL) and related integrations.
• Experience working in enterprise-level SAP environments.
• Previous experience as an SAP FI SME, Lead Consultant, or Functional Consultant.
