Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Middle/Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) Consultant to design and implement robust integration solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

You will build and optimize iFlows, work with adapters and mappings, monitor performance, and collaborate with client IT teams to deliver scalable connectivity and reliable data flow for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of practical experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integration design and architecture.
• Proficiency in Groovy Script for integration logic.
• Hands-on experience with adapters: SOAP, REST/OData, IDoc, SFTP/FTP, JDBC, Mail.
• Knowledge of mapping techniques and transformation logic.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid connectivity concepts.
• Experience integrating SAP with Non‑SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Work with core iFlow components including Content Modifier, Request Reply, Router, and Adapters.
• Implement synchronous/asynchronous flows and hybrid connectivity scenarios.
• Handle SAP On-Premise Cloud integrations via SAP Cloud Connector.
• Create and optimize Message Mapping, Operation Mapping, and Groovy Script mapping.
• Monitor and operate via BTP IS tools; ensure performance for high-volume data.

Middle/Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite (IS) Consultant

2. Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Middle/Senior SAP BTP Integration Suite Consultant with strong experience in system integration, interface development, and cloud/on‑premise connectivity. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in creating integration flows, working with multiple adapters, and optimizing integrations for performance and large‑volume data processing.

3. Responsibilities

Integration Development (iFlow)

Design, build, and deploy integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

Work extensively with core iFlow components including:

• Content Modifier
• Request Reply
• Router
• Sender & Receiver Adapters
• Message Mapping
• Script Step (Groovy)
• Multicast / Gather / Splitter
• Exception Subprocess / Local Process
• Filter, Converter, Data Store, Process Direct

Implement synchronous/asynchronous flows and hybrid connectivity scenarios.

Adapters & Connectivity

Work with major adapters such as:

• SOAP
• REST / OData
• IDoc
• SFTP / FTP
• JDBC
• Mail

Handle SAP On-Premise Cloud integrations via SAP Cloud Connector.

Mapping / Transformation

Create and optimize:

• Message Mapping
• Operation Mapping
• XSLT Mapping
• Script Mapping (Groovy)

Monitoring & Operations

Perform daily monitoring via BTP IS tools:

• Message Monitoring
• Error & Exception Handling
• Retry and Lock Handling
• Large Payload Troubleshooting
• Performance optimization for high-volume scenarios

Customer & Solution Support

Analyze requirements and contribute to integration design.

Middle level: support in proposing solutions.

Senior level: lead solution design, provide technical recommendations.

Collaborate with functional teams, ABAP teams, and client IT teams.

4. Requirements

Technical Skills

• 2–3+ years of practical experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integration design and architecture.
• Proficiency in Groovy Script for integration logic.
• Strong hands‑on experience with adapters: SOAP, REST/OData, IDoc, SFTP/FTP, JDBC, Mail.
• Solid understanding of mapping techniques and transformation logic.
• Knowledge of integration fundamentals:
• Synchronous vs. Asynchronous messaging
• Retry & queue mechanisms
• Error/exception handling
• Large payload handling and processing performance
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid connectivity concepts.
• Experience integrating SAP with Non‑SAP systems.
