Job summary

SMDC is seeking an Assistant SAP ABAP Manager to design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW). You will collaborate with SAP functionals and project managers to ensure solutions meet business requirements and timelines.

You will guide junior developers, participate in system upgrades and migrations (ECC to S/4HANA), optimize performance, and contribute to continuous ABAP improvement while ensuring adherence to coding

Qualifications

• 2+ years of SAP ABAP development experience including full-cycle implementations.
• Expertise in RICEFW development, Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS views.
• Strong background in SAP system upgrades, migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA) and performance optimization.
• Skilled in SAP integration: IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, Web Services.
• Proficient in debugging, troubleshooting, and custom code optimization.

Responsibilities
