Job summary

Xurpas Enterprise in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for HANA to design, develop, and optimize ABAP-based solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment, performance and maintainability of applications running on HANA.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Solid understanding of HANA database and its architecture.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming (OO ABAP) and HANA-specific development techniques.
• Experience with CDS views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Knowledge of developing OData services and integrating with SAP Fiori apps.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and SAP HANA Database.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex issues.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code in a HANA environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proactive learner capable of adapting to new technologies.

Role Summary

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform the detailed design of application and technology architecture components and classes


• Configure build and test the application or technology architecture components and classes


• Work with other developers designers and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals


• Create automated unit test scripts and use them as part of a continuous integration development process


• Perform code profiling by using appropriate tools to confirm coding compliance with application development standards


• Check code coverage of unit and assembly tests and ensure it meets expectations. Document the code during development to ensure maintainability


• Document changes to the code for traceability and updates the traceability matrix or other requirements-tracking tool


• Inform the technology architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA


• Strong understanding of the HANA database and its architecture.


• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP, and experience with HANA-specific development techniques.


• Experience in creating and utilizing Core Data Services (CDS) views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).


• Knowledge of developing OData services and integrating with SAP Fiori applications.


• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and the SAP HANA Database


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose efficient solutions.


• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code in a HANA environment.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
