Job summary

Xurpas Enterprise in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for HANA to design, develop, and optimize ABAP-based solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment, performance and maintainability of applications running on HANA.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Solid understanding of HANA database and its architecture.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming (OO ABAP) and HANA-specific development techniques.
• Experience with CDS views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
• Knowledge of developing OData services and integrating with SAP Fiori apps.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and SAP HANA Database.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex issues.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code in a HANA environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Proactive learner capable of adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement detailed architecture components and classes.
• Configure build and test of architecture components.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to meet requirements and performance goals.
• Create automated unit test scripts for CI pipeline.
• Profile code to ensure standards and performance.
• Check unit and integration test coverage; document code for traceability.
• Document changes to code and update traceability artifacts.
• Inform architect and project manager of issues affecting other areas.
