Job summary

JWay Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our hybrid team based in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig or Filinvest Ave, Alabang. You will work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and technical leads to deliver robust SAP ABAP solutions and optimizations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on ABAP development experience across SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules, and demonstrates strong problem-solving and documentation skills for ongoing project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of ABAP development experience in SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming tools including RICEF, BAPI, RFC, and IDocs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP programs from functional specs (low to medium, occasionally complex).
• Execute ABAP programming including RICEF, BAPI, RFC, and IDocs; troubleshoot and debug code issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and technical leads to deliver high-quality ABAP code and solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve defects; participate in ABAP estimations and communicate status clearly.

Position Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Location: Fort Bonifacio, Taguig OR Filinvest Ave, Alabang
Work arrangement: Hybrid

• Must be able to go on-site as needed (Taguig or Alabang)
• Onsite depends on the need if the team needs to work together for testing, etc.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development with a strong understanding of SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules. This role involves working closely with functional consultants, project managers, and technical leads to deliver robust, scalable solutions. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of reviewing and optimizing their own code.

Key Responsibilities:

ABAP Development and Troubleshooting:

• Design, develop, test, and implement low to medium, and occasionally complex ABAP programs based on functional specifications.
• Execute ABAP programming, including RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), BAPI, RFC, and IDocs.
• Troubleshoot and debug code issues during development, testing, and go-live support.
• Conduct technical prototyping and analysis on new or complex requirements.

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with functional consultants and technical leads to deliver high-quality ABAP code and solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve defects, ensuring optimized system performance.
• Participate in ABAP estimations for project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure clear communication of status, risks, and dependencies with Project Lead/Manager.

Best Practices and Documentation:

• Adhere to best coding practices and company standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Perform own code reviews and assist with peer reviews as needed.
• Document technical designs, testing procedures, and development outputs for future reference.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's/College degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of ABAP development experience in SAP SD, MM, and FICO modules.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming tools, including RICEF, BAPI, RFC, and IDocs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize code.
• Experience in technical design documentation and delivering clean, maintainable solutions.
