Job summary

Systemantech Inc. is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy custom programs in the SAP environment. You will work closely with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure code quality and performance.

The role requires maintaining existing programs, tuning performance, and providing technical documentation. A 3–5 year track record in ABAP or SAP modules and relevant degree/certifications are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field required.
• SAP ABAP certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of ABAP or SAP module experience.
• Strong programming, debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom programs in the SAP environment using ABAP programming language.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for custom development.
• Review code to ensure that it is optimized for performance, adheres to programming standards, and meets business requirements.
• Maintain existing programs and provide technical support as needed.
• Analyze and tune custom programs to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Integrate custom programs with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as program specifications and user manuals.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure that custom programs meet functional and technical requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Attainment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Certifications in SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.

Experience Required

• Experience in ABAP programming or other SAP modules.
• Minimum of 3 to a maximum of 5 years.
