Position

Sanitation Officer

Sanitation Officer is responsible for daily implementation of food safety and hygiene requirements at cross-departments levels through monitoring and adhering to safety and hygiene regulations with verification in accordance with HACCP as well as with the internal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure all food and production served to clients and employees are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas conform to required Hygiene and Sanitation levels
• Conduct weekly and monthly sanitation inspections throughout all food handling areas and generate respective reports
• Manage and maintain an effective pest control system
• Conduct food safety audits and training
• Provide effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the Commissary's sanitation and hygiene program
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations and support continued certification where applicable
• Be physically fit and healthy; possess a good working attitude and be flexible to work in any shift, weekends and holidays
• Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations and participate in food safety audits and training

Qualifications

• With experience is an advantage or relevant experience in food / hospitality industry or catering operations
• Graduate of B.S in Food Technology and related fields (Other food-related courses like Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry)
• Amenable to be assigned at Peace Valley Sudlon, Lahug.
• Certified Food Safety Compliance Officer is an advantage
• Responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure all food and production served are free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination and all work areas conform to Hygiene and Sanitation levels
• Team player with sense of urgency
• Good communication and analytical thinking skills
• Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the Commissary's sanitation and hygiene program
