Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience as Salon/Hair Assistant preferred.
• Basic knowledge of haircare, coloring, and styling; training provided.
• Certificate or diploma in Hairdressing or Cosmetology an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional, well-groomed, service-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Keen interest in learning and growing in hair/beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior hairdressers with washing, conditioning, towel wraps, scalp and hair treatments.
• Prepare clients for services including cuts, coloring, blow-dry and styling.
• Prepare pre/post-service products, color formulas and treatment products per instruction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of hair stations, tools and back bar.
• Sanitize and store all tools and equipment after use.
• Provide beverages or assistance to ensure client comfort.
• Learn and stay updated on basic hairstyling techniques and salon procedures.
• Uphold hygiene, safety and service standards.
• Support stylists during busy periods for efficient client flow.
