Overview

A Sales Promodiser typically involves promoting and selling products, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring sales targets are met.

Merchandiser helps optimize sales by ensuring that the assigned retail store is stocked with the right products in the right quantities. This may include stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory. They may also identify the best-selling lines and report to immediate superior for developing promotional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly personal sales targets.
• Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long- lasting relationships.
• Attend meetings and product trainings conducted by Tenbuild and MC Home Depot to keep abreast of the latest developments.
• Submission of Daily and Monthly Report
• Request for stock replenishment, in charge of securing permit, barcode labelling and other administrative tasks.
• Check daily inventory, ensuring that the stocks are in good condition at all times, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of items both on display and in the stockroom.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring thorough product knowledge and provide technical assistance to the customer as needed.
• Ensure that all customer queries are well handled.
• Maintain rapport with superior and other store personnel.
• Manage all customer concerns and objections so that they can be converted into sales.
• Adherence to Policies and Procedures of both Tenbuild and MC Home Depot.
• Any other related task assigned by the Management.
