Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, providing product information and recommendations, processing sales transactions, and supporting the achievement of store sales targets. The position ensures excellent customer service while maintaining proper product presentation and an organized selling area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate hardware, construction, and industrial products based on their needs.

• Provide accurate information regarding product features, prices, availability, and promotions.

• Prepare quotations and assist customers with orders and purchases.

• Promote products and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.

• Maintain proper product displays, labels, and merchandising within the assigned area.

• Coordinate with the Warehouse, Store Operations, and other departments regarding product availability and customer orders.

• Assist in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and after-sales requests.

• Ensure that products are properly presented and readily available for customers.

• Monitor product availability and report low-stock or out-of-stock items to the concerned personnel.

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and proper appearance of the assigned selling area.

• Assist in inventory counts and other store activities when required.

• Follow company policies, sales procedures, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, customer service, hardware, construction materials, or industrial supplies is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer knowledge; experience with POS or ERP systems is an advantage.
