As a Sales Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data, generating reports, and providing valuable insights to help the sales team make informed decisions. Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret sales data, including sales performance, customer trends, and market conditions.
- Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations on sales metrics and KPIs.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making by the sales team and leadership.
- Monitor and track sales pipeline, forecast sales, and assist in budget planning.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to assess sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to keep the company informed of industry trends and benchmarks.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in sales data or performance reports.
- Develop ad hoc reports as requested by management or other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a sales analysis or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
