The Safety Plant Officer 3 is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, and compliance of the LPG plant. The position ensures safe and efficient LPG refilling, cylinder handling, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and plant operations. The position also serves as the plant's Safety Officer 3, responsible for implementing occupational safety and health programs, monitoring safety compliance, coordinating regulatory requirements, and supporting compliance with applicable DENR, DOE, DOLE, LGU, BIR, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
Oversee daily LPG refilling and plant operations, including bulk LPG receiving, unloading, and loading activities
Ensure proper handling, filling, storage, and movement of LPG cylinders and monitor cylinder cleaning, maintenance, and segregation
Monitor plant equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure they are properly maintained and operational
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair of plant equipment
Monitor daily LPG bulk receiving, production/refilling, cylinder movement, and inventory; check and report shortages, variances, and discrepancies
Prepare and submit accurate daily and monthly plant operation reports and maintain proper records
Supervise and monitor assigned plant personnel, assign work schedules, and conduct coaching and performance monitoring
Serve as the designated Safety Officer 3, implement occupational safety and health programs, and conduct regular plant safety inspections
Investigate and document accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective and preventive actions
Monitor compliance with applicable DOE, DENR, DOLE, LGU, BIR, ISO, and other regulatory requirements; maintain records of permits, certificates, and inspections
College graduate with a degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field)
Safety Officer 3 (SO3) certification/training is required or preferred, as applicable
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
