Job summary

delaware Philippines is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Developer with hands-on experience in Private and Public Cloud environments and strong SAP BTP proficiency. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions integrating SAP S/4HANA with BTP services to accelerate digital transformation.

Responsibilities include leading a small development team, guiding architecture, performing code reviews, and delivering high-quality releases while ensuring security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years SAP development experience in both project and AMS environments, with at least 2 years in S/4HANA Cloud (Private/Public).
• Strong experience with SAP BTP services and tools.
• Proficiency in ABAP, CDS, OData, Fiori/UI5, and CAP.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment strategies.
• Experience in ITSM tools like SNOW, Xurrent, ManageEngine
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend applications on SAP S/4HANA (Private and Public Cloud) using ABAP RAP, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using SAP BTP services such as CAP, Integration Suite, Workflow Management, and Event Mesh.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and manage APIs and microservices for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across cloud environments.
• Stay current with SAP innovations and recommend improvements or new technologies.
• Proven experience leading a small development team with task planning, delegation, mentoring, and delivery ownership.
• Strong technical decision-making: define solution approach, review designs, and guide architecture for S/4HANA Cloud development.
• Hands-on code review across ABAP/RAP, CDS/OData, Fiori/UI5 and CAP; enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Delivery management: estimates, risks/dependencies, progress tracking, and on-time releases.
• Stakeholder management: clear communication with functional teams/business; translate requirements into executable work.
• Strong integration mindset: API governance, security, and performance for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
• Operational ownership: incident/problem management, root-cause analysis, preventive improvements (ITSM).
