Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in model risk management or related functions within a regulated financial institution.
• Knowledge of model lifecycle governance, materiality/tiering concepts, ICAAP and stress testing linkages.
• Strong analytical skills with governance-ready insights.
• Experience in second-line control environments and risk governance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain model inventory with documentation of purpose, ownership, lifecycle stage, and risk classification.
• Apply criteria for materiality, tiering, and risk classification per MRM framework.
• Perform consistency checks to ensure governance definitions are met.
• Consolidate model information including validation status and findings for enterprise risk views.
• Identify risk concentrations across ICAAP, ECL/IFRS 9, stress testing, pricing, and strategic processes.
• Track remediation status of validation findings and elevate high-risk issues.
• Prepare dashboards and working papers for Senior Management and Risk Management Committee.

Our Risk Management Department is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Risk Officer - Model Risk Management.

In this role you will provide analytical, coordination, and governance support for the Bank's enterprise-level Model Risk Management (MRM) function, ensuring model risks are inventoried, monitored, escalated, and integrated into ERM, Risk Appetite, ICAAP, and senior management reporting. You will also support independent model validation activities and governance processes as part of the second line of defense, ensuring outputs are defensible, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and MRM standards.

• Consolidate model information including validation status, findings, and limitations into enterprise-level risk views
• Identify risk concentrations and dependencies across ICAAP, ECL/IFRS 9, stress testing, pricing, and strategic processes
• Track remediation status of validation findings, elevate high-risk issues, and support management visibility
• Prepare dashboards and working papers for Senior Management and the Risk Management Committee

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage
• At least 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in model risk management, quantitative risk oversight, enterprise risk, capital analytics, or related functions within a regulated financial institution
• Knowledge of frameworks including model lifecycle governance, materiality and tiering concepts, ICAAP and stress testing linkages, and independent validation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, professional skepticism, and ability to translate technical findings into governance-ready insights
• Effectiveness in control within a second-line control environment, ensuring sound risk oversight and governance alignment
