Job description

• Install, assemble, and secure antennas, dishes, cables, and other telecom equipment on towers, poles, rooftops, or other structures.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare, inspect, and operate rigging equipment, ropes, pulleys, hoists, harnesses, and other safety gear before each climb or lift.
• Safely climb telecommunication towers, masts, or poles to reach designated work areas.
• Install, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment at heights as required by the project.
• Layout, route, and secure coaxial cables, fiber optic cables, and grounding wires according to site specifications.
• Use rigging techniques to lift and position antennas, dishes, and structural components safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all occupational safety and health guidelines, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to fall protection regulations.
• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in documenting completed work, including photographs, checklists, or logs as required by the project.
• Ensure the work site is left clean, orderly, and safe after the completion of tasks.
• Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time in connection with rigging and telecommunications operations.
