Job summary

MR DIY Philippines is seeking a Store Cashier for Upper East Bacolod (ZUEB). The role involves handling payments, operating registers and card terminals, balancing the cash drawer, and providing receipts.

You will ensure accurate pricing and quantities and assist customers with exchanges and refunds where needed. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, cashiering experience (POS preferred), strong customer service skills, reliability, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Experience in cashiering, preferably with POS.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and can work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year/s experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.
• Willing to work in Upper East Bacolod.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math to collect payments and give change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and card terminals.
• Balance cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
